The Department of Political Science began its journey since the year of establishment of the College in 1985. From the beginning the subject had been taught only as general course till 2005. Political Science as Honours course had been introduced in the Year 2005. Presently we have two Full time Teachers and three Govt approved Part time Teachers. We have intake capacity of 140 students for Honours. The Department of Political Science is one of the most active and vibrant department in the College.
